The 7-year-old Count on Me Z is the oldest son of Carthago Z daughter Cha Cha Z, the horse on which Judy Ann Melchior won the Bronze medal at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky in 2010. Sire Comilfo Plus Z is one of the leading forces of the stallion block at Stud farm Zangersheide and so Count on Me Z’s breeding finds its origin in this genuine family recipe. Both sire and dam have jumped under Judy Ann Melchior, she has therefore the best background to describe the stallion:

‘His jumping has an incredibly light-footed quality, he has an active gallop and is tremendously alert on the jump. Under Robinson Maupiler he demonstrates he is in a different league and the type of sport horse we really like to see these days and the kind of horse every rider wants. Just like his dam Cha Cha Z, Count on Me Z is not the tallest of horses, so it’s probably wise to use him for taller mares.’
