After a wonderful career boasting chapters across the globe, HH Conrad Z embraced a new chapter last year and joined Stud farm Zangersheide’s star stables in Lanaken. He was born in the renowned Van Witt breeding stud in Germany and as a youngster was purchased by Xavier Marie, the owner of Haras de Hus who gave him his first name Conrad de Hus. Grégory Wathelet and Michel Robert guided him through his first experiences at international level. With Grégory there was a special click and the pair advanced to the absolute top. Together they won the Nations Cup final in Barcelona, de LGCT GP of Chantilly, the Nations Cup in St. Gallen and the Nations Cup of Aachen. Following these successes Conrad was sold to the American Quentin Judge who also clocked fantastic results with the by now renamed HH Conrad. The duo excelled in the 5* GP of Wellington and in Calgary Spruce Meadows. Now that HH Conrad Z has started his new career as a stud stallion, the products from his first crops at Haras de Hus are showing off their performances.
