For many riders victory in the Grand Prix of Aachen would be the epitome of their career. Winning this most taxing of GPs is definitely a prize that remains elusive for most riders and particularly horses, but Christian Ahlmann and Codex One Z did it! These phenomenal athletes did not just win in Aachen but also took victory in the 5* GPs of Valkenswaard, Hamburg, Berlin, Stuttgart and Neumunster. A roll of honour which speaks volumes and sways even the most critical of breeders in the world to frequently use the stallion on their best mares. One of these breeders is Paul Schockemöhle, who used Codex One Z to breed the now ten years old Codexoon who presently jumps at 1.50m level under Francisco Fleming de Oliveira, but also the up-and-coming talent Condendro (damsire Cornet Obolensky). Christian Ahlmann himself has a few progeny of his beloved stallion in his own yard, such as Condor One Z who has also progressed to 1.50m by now.

Christian describes the Codex One Z offspring as athletic sport horses with such pleasing personalities that every rider loves to work with them.
